12,000 sf food processing factory renovation
The Wild Flavors factory renovated their new pouch processing facility and the new equipment to be installed required the roof of the existing facility to be raised an additional 8 ft. which brought the opportunity to bring in natural light to the space with clerestory windows. The HVAC system serving the two processing areas was designed to meet ISO clean room standards related to space pressure, air particle concentration, and filtration. The system was also designed to maintain tight tolerances for space temperature and humidity. The HVAC system was controlled utilizing direct digital controls (DDC) that were tied back into the programmable logic controller (PLC) controlling the process systems.
